Trampoline parks and soft play centre s have been given the green light to reopen from May 17 but not all are reopening from this date.

Here's our guide to the places planning to reopen and the dates they will start taking bookings again.

There are, of course, strict rules in place to try to keep everyone safe from the spread of Covid 19 so we've included everything you need to know before you head over there with your kids.

Remember to stay at home if you have any coronavirus symptoms or are awaiting test results.

Rush Trampoline Park, Kings Norton

Rush has announced it plans to reopen from May 17

At Rush, you can book open jumps, toddler time, parties and fitness activities online.

Bookings will be limited to the 'rule of 6 or two households' and there will be 50 per cent reduced capacity for jump sessions. Over 11s will be expected to wear masks and track and trace measures will be in place. Find out more here

Imagination Street, Redditch

The huge Imagination Street activity centre in Redditch plans to reopen on May 17.

There's more than 20,000 square foot of soft play and trampolines to explore here, including a 'Balloon Typhoon' and interactive screens plus a library for some quiet time as well.

For mums and dads, there are leather sofas, free newspapers, magazines, satellite TV and wi-fi.

Covid safety measures include timed sessions, track-and-trace and face covering rules for over 11s. A fogging sanitiser will be used daily throughout the play equipment to produce a protective film to help reduce the spread of viruses. Find out more here

Children's Play Village, Warwick

The popular Children's Play Village is reopening on May 17.

Known for its role play activities, children can explore a mini village, complete with shop, school, vets, doctors, post office and more.

Pre-booking is essential, and numbers are being limited, toys are being rotated to allow for enhanced cleaning and there will be table service in the cafe plus contactless payments encouraged. Find out more here

Flip Out, Sandwell

Flip Out is reopening on May 17.

Some of the areas may be closed temporarily due to government regulations regarding COVID-19. The foam pits will remain closed, but there is new equipment to explore including Ninja warrior, inflatables and a zip line plus the soft play area.

Also look out for the wall runners, slam ball and flip street tumble strip. Find out more here

Hickory Dickory, Kings Heath

This large soft play centre, which features around 15,000 square feet of balls pools, trampolines, powerful ball canons plans to reopen on May 17.

It claims to have one of the highest indoor slides of its kind in the UK. There’s also a sports arena offering astro turf football and basketball pitch.

Covid safety rules include temperature checks on arrival, pre-booking generally being required to guarantee entrance and for track and trace purposes. Adults and kids over 11 must wear face coverings and there will be a maximum of two households per table group and the ‘ Rule of 6’ followed. Find out more here

Inflatable Zone and Boing Zone, Halesowen

Inflatable Zone has moved to Soccer Zone - Halesowen and will remain outdoors for the time being.

The indoor site will not reopen until October at the earliest.

Pre-booking is required and Covid safety rules apply. There are large inflatables, a beer garden for parents and free car parking. Find out more here

The Play Station, Saltley

When The Play Station opened in February 2019, thousands queued to get their kids in for free.

The centre boasts a three story high play area including a ball pit, crazy slides, rainbow slides, rocket swing, bee ride, climbing web as well as a trampoline area. It is said to be the third largest indoor play centre in the UK and is suitable for children aged 0- 13 years old. There is also a halal cafeteria and you can also hire out party rooms.

Inflata Nation, Stechford

Inflata Nation is reopening on May 19. Billed as an 'inflatable theme park', the £500,000 Stechford attraction features everything from a drop slide to ball pool, climbing wall and a Gladiators’ -style duel platform.

The 23,000 square foot unit has a separate dedicated area for under fours, which includes giant inflatables.

For bigger kids, there's an assault course, inflatable wrecking ball game and even a human version of the Hungry Hippos game!

Covid safety rules include masks must be worn around the building but may be removed when on the arena, one-way systems will be in place, there will be card payments only and bookings must be made online before arrivals. Find out more here

Rock Up Birmingham, Ladywood

Rock Up has reopened in line with the new Covid rules. All visitors over 11 years are required to wear a face mask or covering during their visit, contactless payments are encouraged and there's reduced climbing capacity to lower the footfall and ensure social distancing.

This centrally-located climbing centre features 26 different climbs, each one offering three levels of challenges, which makes it ideal for families of all ages.

You can try the Speed Climb, Twister, Jungle Gym and Skyscraper and lots more. There's also a cafe and a very small soft play area for little ones. Find out more here

360 Play Town, Redditch

360 Play Town is reopening on May 17 and features a role play street so kids can have a go at being everything from a firefighter to going shopping for fruit and veg.

There are wavy slides, a ball pit and climbing structures plus go karts, a mini carousel and messy play too.

Other indoor family attractions reopening

Selected indoor attractions have already opened too, such as the Snowdome in Tamworth and Planet Ice in Solihull. Many of these attractions will now be able to reopen more of their indoor facilities in line with government guidelines.

Indoor swimming pools are now open too, with strict Covid safety rules in place.

Ones to try include Kingstanding swimming baths which features a bright-yellow diver’s helmet for toddlers plus water features with buckets, jet sprays and even a shark, Stechford Leisure Centre, which had a £9 million makeover in 2018 and Northfield Sports Centre.
